Diana LaChance is a high-performing, technically skilled writer and editor with expertise in marketing, communications, speechwriting, and project management. She is currently employed as an executive-level speechwriter for FEMA; prior to that, she was an executive-level speechwriter for the U.S. Army.

Before transitioning to speechwriting, Diana served as a marketing and communications professional in higher education, ultimately rising to the level of director of admissions communications for a four-year university. She also spent seven years as a freelance writer, editor, and publications manager, with clients ranging from NASA and AIAA to the Huntsville Times and the Redstone Rocket.

Diana earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary and her master’s degree from the University of Florida.
